Monmouth Rambling and Hillwalking Club

Walking is an excellent way to enjoy our beautiful countryside, fresh air, good company and great exercise at the same time.   Monmouth Rambling and Hillwalking Club meet in Glendower Street car park for our regular Sunday walks.  The walks are usually somewhere between 6 -8 miles, sometimes a little longer others may be less, with a break for coffee and lunch.  We are a friendly group and welcome new members.  We have a small membership subscription but prospective members may try us out with up to three taster walks   Suitable footwear and outdoor clothing  are essential.  We encourage car sharing with a small contribution towards fuel costs.  The meeting time  at the car park will vary each week depending on the distance to the walk start which is usually within forty minutes from Monmouth.  For information phone 01633 412013
