And now for something completely different – at our November meeting, Jackie Cox, an artist living and working in the Forest of Dean, will demonstrate the use of scraper board. Remember these from your schooldays? – I loved scratching away at the black surface to reveal a white image! Jackie enjoys experimenting with many media, currently working mainly in pastel and acrylics. Her main subjects are landscape and wildlife.
The meeting will, as usual, take place in The Shire Hall at 7.15pm on November 14th.
There will be a small charge of £3 for nonmembers, to include tea, coffee and plentiful biscuits.
