Formed in 2016 out of a passion for the extraordinary music written for this formation, The Eusebius Quartet have since gained a reputation for possessing ‘clarity and unity of thought’.
Fast gaining an international reputation, the quartet were finalists in the Royal Over-Seas League Music Competition and were awarded a residency at Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme at Snape Maltings in 2019, where they worked with one of their mentors, Hungarian pedagogue and pianist Rita Wagner. As a quartet, they have frequently been invited to perform live on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’.
Each an outstanding musician in their own right, the members of the Eusebius Quartet work regularly with leading ensembles across the world and their debut CD with SOMM Recordings, featuring Korngold Piano Quintet with pianist Alasdair Beatson, will be released in 2021.
