Nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of north Monmouthshire, the tiny village of Skenfrith is opening its gardens to the public on July 23rd.
Site of a ruined castle and a very well preserved medieval church, the village has also appeared in an episode of Dr Who.
Over two dozen gardens are open on July 23rd from 11am to 5pm. Gardens range from perfectly tended small plots to rolling Georgian acres. One garden even boasts its own miniature railway!
There are also a numbers of talks being given in the Village Hall, including a special appearance by no-dig organic gardening guru Charles Dowding.
Refreshments will be served all day including wood-fired pizzas and afternoon teas
This really is a great day out for all the family. Entrance is £6 for over-16s.
