Ross in Bloom

Date:

Show us your bloomers! Ross-on-Wye Town Council is delighted that Ross in Bloom has reformed and is working hard to ensure that Ross looks blooming beautiful. The green-fingered community group is getting ready to take part in the RHS Britain in Bloom competition and launch the town into summer with a burst of colour.

There are lots of planting projects happening in and around the town centre including an area of Caroline Symonds Gardens, which has been neglected for some years. The banks have now been cleared and revived with over 400 predominantly variegated evergreen shrubs, funded by Ross-on-Wye Town Council, which will give year-round interest to the public, birds and insects.

From beautiful borders and hanging baskets, to brightly coloured window boxes and courtyards, make sure you pay a visit to the town to see the team’s hard work.
