The Parkinsons Monmouth and District Support Group meets the third Wednesday of each month from 2 – 3.30 pm at The Bridges Community Centre, Monmouth.
The Group offers support, information and friendship to people with Parkinsons, their families and friends. Meetings are relaxed and informal with tea, coffee and biscuits. Talks and activities are also arranged – recent examples include a demonstration of Laughter Therapy and a visit from a local Parkinsons nurse, who updated the Group on local services, more general development and answered Members’ questions.
DANCE AND EXERCISE CLASS
This class focuses on the special needs of people with Parkinsons and is sponsored by the local Group. The class is held on the first Wednesday of each month from 2 – 4 pm at The Bridges.
