What better way to kick-start your Christmas festivities than to experience the world’s favourite choral masterpiece
Three Castles Baroque will be presenting a truly atmospheric candle lit performance of Handel’s magnificent oratorio “Messiah” at Saint Mary’s Priory Church, Monmouth on Saturday December 21st at 7.30. A superb line-up of soloists has been assembled including the highly acclaimed Baroque specialist, soprano Angela Kasimierczuk. Along side Angela will be international mezzo-soprano Susanna Spicer known to audiences throughout the world as a singer of both opera and oratorio. Singing tenor, is the extraordinarily versatile Paul Badley, who can perform in almost every musical genre. Completing the line up is the outstanding bass Alan Fairs. Alan has appeared as soloist with many major opera companies including Welsh National Opera and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Come and be moved by the thrilling Hallelujah Chorus, The Trumpet Shall Sound and the heart-rending I Know That My Redeemer Liveth.
Joining the soloists will be the Three Castles Baroque Chamber Ensemble and Three Castles Baroque Chorus. A performance not to be missed!
