Finally for this season of talks, on Saturday May 11th, Jill Whitehead of Aulden Farm (which holds the National Collection of Siberian Irises) will be explaining how to make good use of ‘Irises for the natural garden’. The season will then complete as usual with garden visits and social events across the summer.
Visitors are very welcome: £5, incl. refreshments. Also usually some plants for sale.
Doors open at 2pm, talk starts at 2.30pm and the meeting finishes around 4.15pm.
The Monmouthshire group of the Hardy Plant Society (HPS) meets in Usk as it is centrally located. Usk Centenary Hall (NP15 1AD) is at the rear of the Memorial Hall car park, opposite the prison, with free parking.
