Why not enjoy the May Bank Holiday weekend sampling some excellent local brews, having a bite to eat and listening to some great live music whilst supporting the local community through a well-organised charity fund raising activity.
Rossbeerfest is back!! The third annual Beer and Cider Festival is being held in Ross alongside the River Wye on the early May Bank Holiday weekend. Showcasing locally produced beers and ciders, this highly successful event is being organised as a Charity Fund Raiser by Ross Lions and Ross Rotary Clubs.
It opens on Saturday 30th April from 12 noon – 11pm and continues on Sunday 1st May from 12 noon – 10pm. Tickets for a day are £5 each, which not only provides entry but also a free beer glass and festival guide. They can be purchased online at www.rossbeerfest.org and from other outlets, which include Miles Morgan Travel in the centre of Ross.
A full programme of music with live bands is planned for both days with Red River Blues headlining on Saturday evening and the Forest of Dean Morris Men celebrating May Day with us at 12.30pm on Sunday. Food is being supplied by Ross Rowing Club and will be available for purchase in our new, large, undercover ‘beer-hall’ marquee. Full details, maps and updates can be found on the website www.rossbeerfest.org. See also our Facebook page and Twitter @Rossbeerfest.
