Monmouth Women’s Festival returns this March for its 13th year. The Festival, which runs for 5 days between Friday 4th to Tuesday 8th March 2016, will officially open with a launch event at Nelson Museum and close on International Women’s Day with afternoon tea connecting with other women across the globe, via Skype.

The 2016 Monmouth Women’s Festival theme celebrates the achievement of women locally, nationally and around the world. Each day will lead with a different focus providing relevant talks, workshops and events.

Saturday’s theme is women achieving through creativity and offers a selection of workshops including creative writing, wearable art, printmaking and mosaic making.

Monday’s focus will be women achieving through work and business and our guest speakers include Catherine Fookes (More Women in leadership), Rachel Short (30% club) and Charlotte Poole-Graham who will offer guidance on how to leave university without a huge debt.  The full programme is available on the Festival website: www.monmouthwomensfestival.com.
