An Introduction to Bridge
Monmouth Bridge Club has a thriving, active membership dedicated to promoting the game of Bridge.
During the last two years the club has grown, due to the friendly, welcoming atmosphere created by the current committee and supported by all the members.
Bridge is a game for everyone whether you are a competent card player or if you’ve never picked up a pack of cards in your life. The game is very sociable and you can make lots of new friends plus individuals are encouraged to come along to learn and partner up with other aspiring players.
Bridge is well known for helping to improving the memory and adding to your general well-being. If you want to take up a pastime which will improve your mind and social life then Bridge is for you.
If you already have a basic knowledge of the game, you will be able to develop your skills in a safe and supportive way at our “No Fear Bridge” sessions. If you want to learn how to play, the club holds regular classes run by Welsh Bridge Union/English Bridge Union qualified teachers at a very minimal cost. You only have to pay membership and a few pounds per week to join.
There is a new course commencing Wednesday October 11th 2 pm to 4 pm at Mitchel Troy Village Hall.
